Stefon Irvine a two-spirit Red River Métis with maternal Cree roots who is studying medicine at the University of Manitoba. He grew up in northern Manitoba and has paternal settler ancestors. Stefon is unapologetically anti-racist, intentionally de-colonial, and speaks out against systems of oppression. Stefon leads research in retaining Indigenous people and other historically marginalized communities in medicine.
