 Kallie is Red River Métis and grew up in a small town in Northwestern Ontario, called Vermilion Bay. She is a second-year medical student at NOSM, Thunder Bay campus.

Ethan is a member of Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation and is in his first year of study at the Queen's University School of Medicine.

Laney is a third-year medical student at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, ON. Laney grew up in Deninu K’ue, NT and is a member of the Fort Resolution Metis Nation and is both Metis and Dene.

Josha is a nehiyaw iskwew (Cree woman) with roots in Saddle Lake Cree Nation. She is currently entering her second year as a medical student at McMaster University.

Sydney is Settler- Red River Métis who grew up in Nanaimo, BC. She is currently a second year medical student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is passionate about Indigenous leadership and advocacy work.

Of French Metis descent, Devin grew up between the traditional Red River Settlements parish 17 – Ste Anne, Manitoba on Treaty 1 territory and Peace River, Alberta on Treaty 8 territory. He is currently in his second year of medical school at the University of Saskatchewan.

Jessica est une étudiante Ilnu en médecine à l’Université de Sherbrooke – Campus Saguenay et elle est originaire de la communauté de Mashteuiatsh, dans la région du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Elle est bien contente de faire partie de l’Association Canadienne des Étudiants Autochtones en Médecine en tant que Représentante Régionale du Québec pour l’année 2023-2024.

 

Jessica is an Ilnu medical student at Université de Sherbrooke – Campus Saguenay and she is from the community of Mashteuiatsh in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. She’s excited to be a member of the Indigenous Medical Student of Canada as the Quebec regional Director for 2023-2024.
